Stena Line
Stena Line hired me as the UX Lead for big a digital transformation project involving many teams, sub-projects, and phases. The main project I worked on was an admin dashboard to analyze and optimize departure capacity and pricing for Trade Management. Along with developing digital products and services, I also helped build a design system to be used by all Stena Lines product teams to design and develop internal applications. The Design System allowed us to create a more consistent design across all company products, better cross-team collaboration, and more efficient development.

Greenbyte
Greenbyte offers digital products and services to owners and operators of renewable energy (wind turbine farms and solar plants). I was the first (and only at the time) UX Designer hired to help them build and scale their digital products and services. This was a dynamic role that meant I was involved in projects both for marketing and product teams and worked with the R&D team to create and launch new products and offerings.

MATCHi
Matchi is an online booking and administration system for racket sports venues and clubs. My function was to help the team re-design and code (front-end) the company website and the web application. I joined the team as a freelancer, and the objective was to update the framework of the web app; while doing so, I discovered and encouraged them to make design and user-flow improvements to better the product and their offerings to customers and users. Besides improving the booking system, I also designed a new product for tournaments management and an admin dashboard to manage customers and clients.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Collaborate with developers to create the UI
Develop mockups and prototypes
Front-end development
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems based on user feedback

Butlr.net
Butlr was a marketplace that matched people who have tasks they need doing with people willing to do them for an agreed-upon price. This was before the sharing economy apps became a thing in Sweden, and no online payment solution could support the business model of a peer-to-peer marketplace in Europe. So, there were challenges to tackle! As a founder/CEO of the company and Designer/Developer of the product, I had all the responsibilities and tasks a person can have at a start-up.
I had two full-time employees and a few contractors working with me. Unfortunately, after two years of struggle, we failed to finance the company and had to abandon the ship soon after the launch.
I launched Butlr.net with big dreams. It was a simple idea with immense potential, and I guess I was a little too early for that time. Even though it didn't entirely turn out as I hoped it would, I gained a ton of experience and learned valuable lessons about product design and entrepreneurship.
