I designed a Customer and a Staff App for this self-initiated project.
Qitch is suppose to improve the dining-out experience by digitizing and customizing the restaurant menues for their customers.
No more waiting to order, no more wating to pay, no more mixing up the orders.
Problem
Ordering and paying for food at the restaurants is sometimes very annoying and always a time-consuming process. You wait for to be seated, you wait for someone to come and hand you the menu, you wait for the person to come back and take your order, you wait for your food, you wait for your drink refilled, you wait for the check... And while you're waiting, the waiter is running around! They run between tables and kitchen, feeling stressed and overwhelmed.
Solution
Qitch is a restaurant app with social and loyalty features for dining out. Qitch's purpose is to improve everyone’s restaurant experience everywhere.

Interviews
The idea with Qitch is that it is should be used at pretty much every restaurant and café. Those businesses have their own brand and colors, so Qitchs UI colors should be neutral and don't stick out too much. Also, I wanted an elegant look and feel for the app. At the same time those food pictures should pop out. This notion led me to chose a black(ish) color as the primary color and I wanted to make the UI as native and sleek as possible.
